Safety is our priority

  • Throwing lanes in the mobile axe throwing trailer are to be used by patrons and participants of scheduled events. Before throwing an axe, all participants must read the safety and best practices rules and sign the PNW AXE Throwing Company waiver.

  • All participants must wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Footwear should have good traction for stability. Closed toed shoes are mandatory, no sandals.

  • All PNW AXE Throwing Company functions and private events are run under the supervision of an Event Leader. Seattle axe throwing is only permitted when an Event Leader is present and actively supervising a throwing lane.

  • No person impaired by alcohol or drugs will be allowed to axe throw. Participation in PNW AXE Throwing Company events is subject to the Event Leader’s discretion. Staff may ask anyone to stop participating in Seattle axe throwing at any time.

  • PNW AXE Throwing Company will be armed with a first aid kit in the case of minor injuries. All Event Leaders will be certified in First Aid.

  • Axes will not be overly sharp to the touch. An axe doesn’t need to be super sharp to stay in a target.

  • Participants must wait until both axe throwers throw their axes before retrieving their throws. After both axes are thrown, participants are permitted to cross the throwing line to retrieve their axe.
